SPECIAL GROUP RATE AVAILABLE FOR FLORIDA FUN IN THE SUN WORKSHOP IN JULY
Villages line dance instructor Margaret Koll has arranged for a special group registration rate for Villages line dancers who would like to attend the Florida Fun In The Sun line dance workshop July 19-22 at the Marriott Airport in Orlando. You will save $10 off the posted rates if you get your registration form and check to Margaret no later than May 28. You must have your check and form to Margaret by Monday, May 28. 

NEW CLASS AT WILDWOOD COMMUNITY CENTER
Villages line dance instructor Lisa McCammon has started a new class from 6-9 p.m. on Fridays at the Wildwood Community Center on Powell Road south of Highway 466A, past the Sumter County Government Service Center and library. The format is a half hour of basic instruction followed by Beginner through Beginner Plus dances until 7:30 p.m. After a short break, the class continues with more challenging dances until 9 p.m. The class is sponsored by the City Of Wildwood Parks & Recreation Department. Cost is $5 per class. No preregistration is required. Due to other events scheduled at the Community Center, the next class will be held May 18.

DON'T MISS THE EXERCISE IN DISGUISE LINE DANCE SOCIAL ON JUNE 10
Exercise in Disguise will host a party for all Village line dancers from 6-9 p.m. on Sunday, June 10 at SeaBreeze Recreation Center. There is no charge, but a 50/50 drawing will be held. Villages IDs are required. Dancers are asked to bring their own snacks and beverages. Other Exercise in Disguise line dances will be held at SeaBreeze Recreation Center on Aug. 12 and Oct. 14.
A Christmas dance will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 14 at SeaBreeze Recreation Center. There will be a small fee to cover decorations and incidentals. In addition to line dancing, there will be music for partner dancing, oldies for jitterbugging and slow dance music for couples. All Village dancers and their spouses and guests are invited. Everyone is asked to bring an hors d'oeuvre to share as well as their own beverages. For more information, contact Shirley Lake at wlake23@comcast.net.

ALL VILLAGE LINE DANCERS INVITED TO DANCE THE CLASSICS ON JUNE 24
Line dancers of all levels who enjoy many of the favorite line dances that have stood the test of time are invited to a "Dancin' The Classics" party hosted by Jean Brewer on Sunday, June 24. The party will be held from 6-9 p.m. at Colony Cottage Recreation Center. A request list will be available throughout the evening and all dancers may add their favorite classics to the list. Jean will provide one-wall walk throughs of dances as needed. Villages IDs are required for admission. Dancers are invited to bring snacks and beverages. In lieu of tickets, there will be a 50/50 drawing. Additional "Dancin' The Classics" parties will be held on Aug. 26 at Laurel Manor Recreation Center and Oct. 28 at Laurel Manor Recreation Center.
CELEBRATE SUMMER AT THE JULY 8 LINE DANCE CONNECTION SOCIAL
Beginner Plus and Intermediate line dancers in The Villages are invited to attend the Line Dance Connection's social from 6-9 p.m. on Sunday, July 8 at Laurel Manor Recreation Center. The theme is "Beach Party" and the hostesses are Margaret Koll and Rose Knosp.
Villages IDs are required for admission. There is no charge, but dancers are asked to support the 50/50 drawing, as proceeds help the host instructors offset music and other costs. SATURDAY CLASSES MOVED ON JULY 14
Darlene Miller's classes that meet on Saturday at Lake Miona Recreation Center (8-9 a.m. Beginner Plus/Low Intermediate and 9-10:30 a.m. Intermediate) will meet from 9-11:20 a.m. on July 14 at Coconut Cove Recreation Center.

CLASSES CANCELED AT LAKE MIONA ON AUG. 14
Marlyn Marszalek's classes that meet at Lake Miona Recreation Center (Noon-1:20 High Beginner and 1:30-2:40 Beginner Plus/Low Intermediate) will not be held on Tuesday, Aug. 14.

ENJOY A LINE DANCE PARTY AT SEA MARCH 16-23, 2013
Join Villages line dance instructor Darlene Miller and Ocala instructor Marilyn McNeal aboard Carnival's brand new ship Carnival Breeze for an eight-day eastern Caribbean Cruise featuring four private line dance parties as well as line dance instruction and open dancing. The ship sails from Miami on March 16 and will visit St. Thomas, Antigua, Tortola in the British Virgin Islands and Nassau. Interior cabins start at $1,227 per person, ocean view cabins start at $1,337 per person and balcony cabins start at $1,677 per person. Prices include round-trip transportation between The Villages and Miami and include onboard gratuities and all port and government fees. Line dance classes in The Villages are fragrance-free environments. Please do not use perfume, cologne or personal care items with a fragrance if you are going to attend a line dance class. Even a light scent can be overwhelming to the dancer next to you, especially to those with chemical allergies. Please be considerate to all and enjoy scent-free dancing.
