NO MONDAY CLASSES AT COLONY COTTAGE ON JAN. 30
Margaret Koll's and Rose Knosp's Monday afternoon classes at Colony Cottage Recreation Center (Noon-1 p.m. Beginner; 1-2 p.m. Beginner Plus and 2-3 p.m. Intermediate) have been canceled on Monday, Jan. 30 due to other activities being held at the recreation center.

JUST 20 SPOTS LEFT! REGISTER NOW FOR THE MARCH 3 LINE DANCE WORKSHOP
The Stars and Stripes Forever Line Dance Workshop is almost sold out. Register today for a full day of dancing and instruction by guest choreographers Michael Barr and Michele Burton. The workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Laurel Manor Recreation Center on Saturday, March 3. Beginner Plus and Intermediate dances will be taught. A box lunch will be provided. Participants will be on their own for dinner from 5-7 p.m. From 7-10:30 p.m., there will be open dancing, including a review of the day's dances. DJs Jeff and Darlene Miller will take requests throughout the evening. Cost for all fesitivites is $38 for residents of The Villages and $43 for nonresidents. EXTRA CLASSES FOR ULTRA BEGINNERS TO BE HELD IN FEBRUARY AND MARCH
Lisa McCammon
has added dates to her Thursday night Ultra Beginner class (6:30-7:20 p.m.) at Allamanda Recreation Center. The class will be offered twice a month in February and March. The class dates are Feb. 9, Feb. 23, March 8 and March 22.

NO CLASSES AT LA HACIENDA ON JAN. 31
Jean Brewer's
classes that meet on Tuesday at La Hacienda Recreation Center (9-10 a.m. Beginner Plus and 10-11 a.m. Intermediate) will not be held on Tuesday, Jan. 31 due to voting activities at the rec center.


SATURDAY CLASSES MOVED ON FEB. 4
Darlene Miller's classes that meet on Saturday at Lake Miona Recreation Center (8-9 a.m. Beginner Plus/Low Intermediate and 9-10:30 a.m. Intermediate) will meet from 9-11:20 a.m. at Coconut Cove Recreation Center on Feb. 4.

EXERCISE IN DISGUISE SOCIALS KICK OFF ON MONDAY, FEB. 6
Exercise in Disguise will kick off a season of socials with a "Sweetheart Dance" from 6-9 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 6 at Colony Cottage Recreation Center. In addition to line dancing, there will be music for partner dancing, oldies for jitterbugging and slow dance music for couples. All Village dancers and their spouses and guests are invited. Cost is $3 per person and preregistration is required by emailing Shirley Lake at wlake23@comcast.net. Payment in advance is requested. Everyone is asked to bring an hors d'oeuvre to share as well as their own beverages. LINE DANCE SOCIALS PLANNED AT OXFORD COMMUNITY CENTER
Villages line dance instructor Carol Simmons will host Sunday evening line dance socials from 7-10 p.m. at Oxford Community Center on these dates:

Cost is $8 and non-dancing guests are free. Dancers are invited to bring beverages and snacks. Requests will be played throughout the evening. Carol teaches a line dance class at the Community Center from 3:30-5:30 p.m. on Sunday from November to May. For more information, contact Carol at

ALL VILLAGE LINE DANCERS INVITED TO DANCE THE CLASSICS ON FEB. 26
Line dancers of all levels who enjoy many of the favorite line dances that have stood the test of time are invited to a "Dancin' The Classics" party hosted by Jean Brewer on Sunday, Feb. 26. The party will be held from 6-9 p.m. at Mulberry Grove Recreation Center. A request list will be available throughout the evening and all dancers may add their favorite classics to the list. Villages IDs are required for admission. Dancers are invited to bring snacks and beverages. In lieu of tickets, there will be a 50/50 drawing. Jean has planned additional "Dancin' The Classics" parties, so mark your calendars:

SAIL WITH SCOOTER THE DJ AND JAN RAMSEY ON THE EMERALD PRINCESS FEB. 26
Visit the Southern Caribbean with Scooter the DJ and Jan Ramsey Feb. 26-March 7 and enjoy two private dance parties, a private cocktail party, Scooter’s special events party and  free line dance lessons with Jan. CELEBRATE ST. PATRICK'S DAY AT THE MARCH 11 LINE DANCE CONNECTION SOCIAL
Beginner Plus and Intermediate line dancers in The Villages are invited to attend the Line Dance Connection's social from 6-9 p.m. on Sunday, March 11 at Laurel Manor Recreation Center. Hostesses for the evening are Marlyn Marszalek and Jean Brewer and the theme is "Erin Go Bragh" for St. Patrick's Day. Villages IDs are required for admission. There is no charge, but dancers are asked to support the 50/50 drawing, as proceeds help the host instructors offset music and other costs. Dancers are encouraged to bring their beverages and snacks. Line dance classes in The Villages are fragrance-free environments. Please do not use perfume, cologne or personal care items with a fragrance if you are heading to a class. Even a light scent can be overwhelming to the dancer next to you, and especially so to those with chemical allergies. Please be considerate to all and enjoy scent-free dancing.
